24/7 ACCESS TO OUR POLE STUDIO

Our Core24 pole dance studio is located at our Carrum Downs Club which  you can access 24 hours – 7 days a week! We have two studios including competition level Pole Equipment. Pole Dance is a fitness class that incorporates the use of a vertical pole as a prop for exercise and dance movements.

Core24 Pole fitness classes  focus on strength training, flexibility, and coordination, and can be suitable for individuals of all fitness levels, including beginners.

You will learn various moves and poses on the pole, such as spins, climbs, holds, and inversions, which require a combination of strength, balance, and flexibility. The class also include conditioning exercises to build upper body and core strength, as well as stretches to improve flexibility. Pole Dance Fitness is a full-body workout that is both physically challenging and artistically expressive.

POLE FITNESS AT CORE24

BENEFITS OF POLE DANCE

Pole dance fitness classes require the use of multiple muscle groups, including the arms, shoulders, back, core, and legs. Repeatedly performing moves and poses on the pole can help improve overall muscular strength and endurance.

Pole dance fitness often involves stretching and holding positions that can help increase flexibility, particularly in the hips, shoulders, and back. Over time, regular participation in pole dance fitness classes can help improve flexibility and range of motion.

Many pole dance fitness classes are physically demanding and can provide a cardiovascular workout, helping to improve heart health and stamina. Incorporating spins, climbs, and other dynamic movements into routines can elevate heart rate and provide a challenging cardiovascular workout.

The various moves and poses in pole dance fitness classes require a significant amount of engagement from different muscle groups, resulting in body toning and shaping. Regular participation in pole dance fitness classes can help sculpt and tone the arms, shoulders, back, core, and legs.

Pole dance fitness can be a form of artistic expression and self-empowerment. As individuals progress in their skills and master new moves, it can boost their confidence and self-esteem. Additionally, pole dance fitness encourages self-expression and body positivity, promoting a positive body image and self-acceptance.

Like many forms of physical exercise, pole dance fitness can also serve as a stress-relieving activity. Engaging in a physical workout, expressing oneself creatively, and focusing on mastering new skills can help reduce stress, increase mental focus, and improve overall well-being.

Pole dance fitness classes are often conducted in a group setting, providing an opportunity for social interaction and community building. Connecting with like-minded individuals who share similar interests can enhance motivation, support, and enjoyment of the class.

Strength training can help to reduce chronic pain associated with conditions such as arthritis and back pain.

Strength training can help to improve sleep quality, making it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep throughout the night.

By improving muscle mass, bone density, heart health, balance, and coordination, strength training can help to improve overall health and quality of life.
